Abstract

Key issues reviewed include the clinical diagnosis and pharmacological treatment of dementia with Lewy bodies, key literature pertaining to the overlap of vascular and neurodegenerative pathology, the potential importance of microvascular disease and the possible role of carotid sinus hypersensitivity as an attributable cause.
