Abstract

All future developments need to address Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) in order to gain planning approval. The inclusion of permeable paving within SUDS will greatly enhance the likelihood of a planning application succeeding. This paper describes research undertaken into permeable flexibly bedded pavers and presents a design method based on the research results.
