This online resource has been designed to present, explain and 'bring to life' the four paintings by William Hogarth that comprise his 'The Humours of an Election' series. Painted in 1754-55, they have been in Soane's collection since 1823.

Cast: Voices for the animations were provided by Bertie Fenton, Kerry Gooderson, Katie Guicciardi, Nancy Kerr, Daniel Lillie and Cameron Medford-Hawkins. Music for the project was arranged and performed by Nancy Kerr (violin, viola, viola da gamba, voice), Aisling Holmes (border pipes) and Matt Quinn (voice), and was recorded at Powered Flight Music.
