Abstract

© 2025 Elsevier Inc.Inborn errors of immunity disrupt host-microbe interactions. In this issue of Cell Host & Microbe, Che et al.1 examine DOCK8-deficient individuals undergoing stem cell transplantation and show that immune reconstitution rebalances the skin microbiome, underscoring the central role of immunity in shaping cutaneous microbial ecology.
