Open Access padlockePrints

The Newcastle University research output collection, currently available on ePrints, will shortly be moving to a new open repository platform, Figshare. To prepare for the data migration we have paused adding new content to ePrints, and will resume once the new repository is launched. During this time you will continue to have access to ePrints (but no new content will appear). We will share updates here when available.

Abstract

The linked dataset contains the weather data used to prepare the boundary condition files applied in the modelling summarised in the publication: Morsy & Helm. (2024). Failure Prediction of Clay Embankments Subject to Weather-Driven Deterioration. Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering (https://doi.org/10.1061/JGGEFK.GTENG-12842). The dataset readme also includes geospatial data summarising the locations of the weather stations.
