Abstract

© 2017 Elsevier Ltd. This paper reviews the current literature on the epidemiology of bone and soft-tissue sarcomas and includes the latest World Health Organization classification of these tumours, up-to-date statistics on incidence from the National Cancer Intelligence Network and Public Health England, new advances in genetic predisposition and diagnostic criteria, as well as covering environmental and occupation risk factors.
