Abstract

This is a major research output made in collaboration with the poet Anne Stevenson and Enitharmon Press, a leading publisher of illustrated books in the UK. Enitharmon specialise in fine quality literary editions with illustrations from artists with an international reputation, these have included RB Kitaj, Peter Blake, Paula Rego, and Jim Dine. Anne Stevenson is an Anglo-American poet, published by the Library of America and recently described by the TLS as ‘one of the finest poets writing in England today.’ Following discussions on the nature of the poems I was commissioned to make the six etchings for this her first illustrated book.
