Open Access padlockePrints

The Newcastle University research output collection, currently available on ePrints, will shortly be moving to a new open repository platform, Figshare. To prepare for the data migration we have paused adding new content to ePrints, and will resume once the new repository is launched. During this time you will continue to have access to ePrints (but no new content will appear). We will share updates here when available.

Abstract

In this work we present a model to simulate high traffic load using Manet. The Manet topology is studied in three different scenarios with different loads and the minimal capacities for wireless connection between cluster heads, among nodes with corresponding cluster heads, and the minimal capacity for a node to become a cluster head is attained in order to assure the network function. The problem is faced using an integer mathematical model applying Hub and Spoke approach. © 2010 IEEE.
