Abstract

A multimedia GPS walking tour of Newcastle city center, exploring the industrial social-history of the city. Energy and infrastructures hardware are digitally layered onto the real cityscape, and experienced in-place. Human performers and physical items spotted in the city are further used to merge uncanny media and real worlds.
