Abstract

This editorial introduces the 317pp double special issue of Globalizations on "Globalization and Crisis", which includes contributions by over twenty scholars, and a foreword by Tarja halonen, President of the Republic of Finland. The essay provides an overview of the range of arguments and analyses provided in the special issue, which attempt to understand the present global crisis in a theoretical, historical, and comparative perspective.
